A slice of life story about a young man named Ruben, who reconnects with his boyhood friend Jimmy.
Prayers for Bobby is not a happy ending movie, but it shows that after an unhappy ending can be a new beginning. Even if it is hard, full of anguish and guilt in social and religious questions regarding homosexuality. The film is also a story about a mother's love. And this relationship is maternal Bobby Griffith and Mary Griffith, played by actors Ryan Kelley and Sigourney Weaver. The film was based on the eponymous book by journalist Leroy Aarons published in 1995, who was the founder of the "National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association."
The film was shown on American TV. Since then opens the discussion on the trilogy "Homosexuality ► ► Family Church".
